One month later, and I’m finally recapping my time at Bonnaroo with Soap & Glory!
Several months ago, Soap & Glory reached out to see if I would want to join them for the weekend in Manchester, Tennessee for Bonnaroo. One of my best friends Brooke has been going for years, so she had filled me in on what an incredible weekend it is after her last trip to the farm. I agreed quickly and immediately texted my BFF to see if she was in.
It might sound a little crazy, but Bonnaroo exceeded every single expectation that I had! The music was amazing and the people could. not. have. been. nicer. Seriously, we had the best time ever! I’m already counting down until next year. Hey, maybe I’ll even go all in and go camping – we will see!
- Major Lazer
- Red Hot Chili Peppers
- The Strumbellas
- Chance the Rapper (admittedly, though, not as great as we were hoping!)
- Tove Lo (wasn’t expecting it, but we loved her show!)
- Jon Bellion
- Michael Kiwunaka
- Touchups, temporary tattoos, and a huge donut birthday cake at the Soap & Glory tent
- The Amish donuts (No joke – top 5 things I’ve ever eaten)
- Absurd outfits (people got a kick out of my Single, Taken, Tacos tank ?)
- The people
- High five Friday
- Dancing at Major Lazer
- Discovering my new favorite lip gloss at Soap & Glory
- Meeting other influencers in Nashville + beyond!
- Spending time with my besties all weekend ?
…there were sooooo many shows we missed that I’ve been so bummed about ever since (ie: Kaleo, Louis the Child, James Vincent McMorrow, Portugal. The Man, Umphrey’s, etc.). It’s impossible to see everything, so we tried to go with the flow as much as possible, and some of the ones we ended up just chilling on the lawn for were some of our favorites (and the ones we hadn’t planned on!) I’ve been listening to a Bonnaroo Playlist on Spotify ever since because there’s such a random mix of music. Fun if you’ve been burnt out on summer playlists like I have!
The Soap & Glory team was a sponsor of the entire festival (omg, you need to see the shower situation they did – I can only imagine it was a bit of an upgrade from the usual showers at Bonnaroo), and it was so fun to get to know them and their brand. I really just wanted to recap the festival because I loved it (they didn’t ask for anything specific in terms of coverage!), but I cannot not mention how much I loved this brand and their products. I mentioned in my monthly favorites on Glitter Guide, but I love the brow crayon and One Heck of a Blot shine control powder and have been using them ever since.
All in all, I cannot more highly recommend the festival! It was really, really different than I was expecting it to be (in a great way!), and I cannot wait for next year.
…and my friends cannot wait for me to finally stop talking about it 🙂
Thank you to Soap & Glory for such an amazing experience!
