Hyla Dewitt Necklace / Elephants on Parade Necklace / Lulie Wallace Print / Teil Duncan Print / Evelyn Henson Prints
I have been reaaaaaaally delaying finishing up my apartment. More or less, I have the big stuff in and placed and installed, but it’s the little things (ha) like hanging things on the walls and finding decorative items for the shelves that I haven’t made time for.
As you’ll see, I’m obsessed with holding onto pretty cards and collecting fun, bright prints. However, when it comes time to get them framed…I drag my feet. It’s such a process, it’s expensive, and it’s hard to hang all those things on your own!
Enter…Frame My Mirror. This company is one that was created to frame those big bathroom mirrors to make them look a lot nicer and prettier – at a fraction of the cost. However, after I saw a picture of unframed items within a big frame on Pinterest, I was convinced it would be easier to make a gallery of sorts within one or two frames – vs. having every single little thing framed ($$$$$).
Celebrate painted my BFF, Chill / You’re Awesome card / Little Mustard Seed Charleston print / Rifle Paper Co. cards
The process was super easy. Pick a frame (you can also have samples sent to you if browsing online isn’t your thing), enter your dimensions, purchase. The package comes with everything you need (except a hammer), and I 100% did this ENTIRE project myself. I’m really proud of that fact. (I followed these step-by-step instructions)
For reference: I chose the Carson Reverse White because I’m a pretty simple/classic kind of gal, and I knew that it would stand the test of time. BUT, I also love the Weston Silver. Also, if you have a particular color in mind, they have paintable options too!! I think it would be super cool to do a gold – or even something half/half like this.
I’m already brainstorming ways to use Frame My Mirror again. While they did provide the frames for free, I found that they really solved a problem I had, and I think they’re a pretty awesome company. Plus, they’ve got me one step closer to FINALLY sharing a home tour. Stay tuned…
