It’s been a while since we’ve really caught up over here. I’ve been in Nashville for over a year, and life looks pretty different than it did one year ago! While there have been some high highs and some low lows, I’ve learned and changed (and cried) and grown a lot over the last year…and specifically the last few months. I’m excited to share some fun holiday posts in the next few weeks – let me know if there is anything you’d like to see! xx
‘Tis the season! The time between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day is truly one of my favorite seasons of the year. It’s incredible busy – with something happening just about every night – but filled with fun parties and Christmas lights and late nights. Since there are only so many weekends in December, oftentimes holiday parties fall on weeknights which usually means I’m scrambling around after work to get there and not show up empty handed. I decided to team up with my favorite brand, La Crema, to share three of my go-to recipes that can easily be prepared in that quick hour between work and your next Christmas get-together.
To be honest, I haven’t spent more than five minutes Christmas shopping this year. I have a running list going, so I’m going to do my best to knock some out during all of the Cyber Weekend sales happening right now. These are the best sales and my favorite items so far…
Shopbop: Buy More, Save More (duh!)
This is the main sale I’ll be shopping since they have so many different categories, and as previously mentioned they are my favorite online shopping site! Personally, I might grab a sweater or pair of jeans to wear during the holiday season (both under $100 before the sale!). I also really love this bag and these kitschy earrings. Here are a few of my top picks for shopping their sale:
I don’t shop at J.Crew unless there is a sale happening, and this is a great one. Whether you’re grabbing a new coat or OH MY GOSH A NEW PAIR OF JEANS. I have to tell you that I bought a pair of jeans at J.Crew last week, and I don’t know if I have ever loved a pair of jeans this much. I hadn’t tried theirs since high school, and it will be a while before I buy from anywhere else. This is the pair I purchased – thinking I’ll buy these during the sale. I’ve also had my eye on this pretty cashmere tunic for a while now!
For all things fitness, Bandier is a fabulous go-to – especially for some of those splurge type items. They have a huge range of activewear, but I tried on these (expensive) leggings and I fell in love with them. Totally worth the price. I think this Cheer top is a must for me, and I love my APL sneakers!!!
